Cara Hickey

Cara has been a member of the Board since 2023 and was appointed Chairperson in November 2025.

Her fertility journey began in the UK and continued to the USA and New Zealand. Cara’s lived experience fuels her commitment and passion to support all New Zealanders facing their own fertility challenges.

Cara is an award-winning communications specialist with extensive international experience across the marketing, digital and advertising sectors. After completing post-grad Psychology study, Cara now combines her comms expertise with behavioural science to help advocate for better mental health and wellbeing in Aotearoa.
