Short Cycle:

Short cycles may or not be suitable for all people seeking IVF treatment.  It is advisable to thoroughly discuss this with your Specialist.

A short cycle cuts out the requirement for “down regulation”. The client goes directly onto ovulation stimulation drugs.

Ultrasound scans as described above will be conducted.

An additional one off injection will be required to be administered. This will have the affect of preventing a women’s natural LH surge or stopping natural ovulation.

Blood tests leading up to this time will provide information to enable the Clinic to advise when to administer this injection.
