Secondary Infertility is defined as when a pregnancy has previously been achieved by the couple but regular, unprotected intercourse has not resulted in a second pregnancy.

Many of the issues described in the previous pages may be a factor with secondary infertility, however the most common issues are related to age, tubal damage, male factor infertility or a combination.
