Fertility New Zealand is committed to supporting, advocating for and educating all people who face infertility challenges at all stages of their journey and beyond…..

Vision:

To provide a vehicle to assist New Zealanders access to appropriate Assisted Reproductive Treatment (ART), advocate on their behalf to have their rights as consumers met and exceeded to ensure fair and equitable access to public funded treatment wherever available.

FertilityNZ was first established in 1990 as the The Fertility Society of New Zealand.  In 2002 it became FertilityNZ.

You will see from this website that we are in the exciting phase of re-branding and hope that the new look and feel of the brand meets with our members approval.

FNZ is a Charitable Trust administered by a full time Executive Officer and Assistant and our head office is based in Christchurch.

We have an Executive Committee who govern the organisation. Their role is to ensure the objectives of the organisation are met and more importantly that the needs and views of our members and Consumers of fertility services are also met. This Committee is made up of 3 clinicians and 7 consumer members.

We have a number of branches throughout New Zealand who also have their own governance structures in terms of a committee.  More information about your local branch, contact person and events in your area can been seen on the Regional Contacts page.

We provide our members and consumers with various services including:

• Regional support and contact groups
• General advice and contact service
• Comprehensive information brochures
• A forum for confidential feedback on any issues arising, or concerns you have about your treatment or journey
• A Chatroom where you can seek on-line support from people in similar situations.
